Right of Withdrawal

Last updated: [date]

1. Right to Withdraw

If you are a Consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the sales contract within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and the implementing Polish legislation.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you (or a third party other than the carrier, indicated by you) acquire physical possession of the goods; where the order comprises multiple items delivered separately, from the day of receipt of the last item.

2. How to Exercise the Right

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us — [Company legal name], [Registered address], [contact email], [Telegram] — of your decision by a clear statement (for example a letter sent by post, an email, or a message via Telegram). You may use the model form below, but this is not obligatory. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the withdrawal period expires.

3. Model Withdrawal Form

(Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)

  • To: [Company legal name], [Registered address], [contact email]
  • I/We hereby give notice that I/We withdraw from my/our contract of sale of the following goods:
  • Ordered on / received on:
  • Name of the consumer(s):
  • Address of the consumer(s):
  • Order number:
  • Signature of the consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper):
  • Date:

4. Effects of Withdrawal and Refund Timing

If you withdraw, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the standard costs of delivery (except for any supplementary costs arising from your choice of a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise; in any event you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest.

5. Returning the Goods and Return Costs

You must send back the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are responsible for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

6. Exceptions — When the Right Does Not Apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to:

  • the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons and which were unsealed after delivery. This is particularly relevant to our laboratory reagents and chemicals: once the protective seal of a product has been broken, the right of withdrawal for that item is lost;
  • goods made to the Consumer's specifications or clearly personalised;
  • goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

These exceptions follow Art. 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU. Your other statutory rights, including complaint rights for defective goods, remain unaffected.
